- Why is the price $37 when the others are in single digits?
- Because $37 is roughly what the category charges, on average, and we are the average. The others are priced for attention. We are priced for the middle of the column.
- What am I getting for the thirty seven dollars?
- An appointment of record and a street address to go with it. Both are real. Both are adequate. Neither is staffed, which is standard at the bargain tier and, as far as we have checked, at ours.
- A process server has left documents at your address. What is the procedure?
- The documents remain at the address. The procedure is then complete. It has been reviewed and found to meet the standard, which we also wrote.
- Will I be kept informed?
- You will be kept. Informed is a separate tier, and we do not offer tiers.
- What is the maximum you would be liable for?
- The fees paid in the three months before the problem. At $37 a year that is $9.25 if the problem arrives in the first ninety days, and nothing if it arrives later, since the year was paid in one installment. The $9.25 stays with us either way. It is an average amount, which is fitting.
- Is there a person I can speak to?
- There is a department. It has one desk, and the desk is unattended during business hours, which are standard.
- Does the appointment carry over to next year?
- It does not. Carrying over would be a form of effort, and our effort is spread evenly across zero years.
- Where do you sit against the other twelve?
- Above all of them, in price. - What is the cancellation process?
- There is no process. The appointment concludes on its own at the end of the year, without notice, which is within tolerance for this category.
- Is there an actual office?
- There is an address and a building at it that meets code. Occupancy is not a metric we track. Average occupancy, if we tracked it, would be low.
- Does the state sign off on this?
- Each state page quotes the statute and what the state does about an agent performing at our level. We have quoted it accurately. We have not read it thoroughly. Thorough would be above average.
- Is this a legitimate business?
- The price is real, the terms are real, the statutes on the state pages are real, and so are the remedies they describe. The service is the one component rated below the others. It is rated zero.
- How would you describe the quality of the service?
- Fine. Consistent. Within tolerance. Every year it performs exactly as it did the year before, which is not at all, and no complaint has ever reached anyone.
- Do you offer a premium tier?
- No. Premium is a deviation from the mean. We do not deviate.
